Project Overview:

As part of Liming Heavy Industry's "China Quality Tour for Grinding Mills", the team visited a large domestic eco-friendly metallurgical enterprise. This enterprise is dedicated to the comprehensive recycling and utilization of nonferrous metal waste and has been recognized as a provincial key project. It is also one of the largest projects in China for the harmless and intelligent disposal of nonferrous and rare precious metal waste.

In this project, the industrial furnace uses pulverized coal as both fuel and reducing agent. The production line, equipped with Liming Heavy Industry's LM Vertical Coal Mill, features a compact layout, small footprint, and low construction cost, fully aligning with the green and efficient development strategy.

Pulverized coal plays a dual role in the furnace—as a critical fuel and an essential reducing agent. Its composition, fluidity, particle size distribution, and moisture content directly affect suspension velocity gradients inside the furnace, thereby influencing smelting efficiency. For this reason, the equipment used in coal preparation faces particularly high requirements. After extensive evaluation and comparison, the LM Vertical Coal Mill was ultimately selected for its high grinding efficiency, large capacity, precise particle size control, and integrated drying capability. These advantages ensure stable operation and reliable performance, providing strong support for the project's long-term success.
