Gold occurs principally as a native metal, usually alloyed to a greater or lesser extent with silver, or sometimes with mercury. Native gold occur as sizeable nuggets, as fine grains or flakes in alluvial deposits, or as grains or microscopic particles embedded in other rocks.
Process Description
Gold ore processing and production technology mainly includes three processes: crushing, grinding, and ore dressing.
During the crushing process, the three-stage closed-circuit crushing is a modern method suitable for the crushing of high-hardness gold ore. It can complete the ore crushing and partial dissociation work, thereby improving the subsequent grinding efficiency.
During the grinding process, the second-stage and one-close grinding can make the gold ore more fully. In the beneficiation process, due to the different types and properties of gold ore, the beneficiation methods used are also different. However, new processes such as gravity separation, flotation, amalgamation, cyanidation, and today's resin ore pulp method, carbon slurry adsorption method, and heap leaching method are widely used. For certain types of ore, the joint gold extraction process is often used.
The first stage: crushing and screening-three-stage closed-circuit crushing
Large pieces of gold ore are evenly fed into the jaw crusher or coarse crushing mobile station by the feeder in the silo for coarse crushing; the coarsely crushed gold ore is screened by a vibrating screen and sent by a belt conveyor. Single-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher performs medium crushing; medium-crushed gold ore materials are sent to multi-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher for fine crushing;
The second stage: grinding
The 0-12 mm gold powder sieved by the vibrating sieve is uniformly sent to the mill for milling, and is screened by a spiral classifier. If it does not meet the requirements, it is sent to the mill to continue milling
The third stage: beneficiation
In the beneficiation process, due to the different types and properties of gold ore, the beneficiation methods used are also different.
However, new processes such as gravity separation, flotation, amalgamation, cyanidation, and today's resin ore pulp method, carbon slurry adsorption method, and heap leaching method are widely used. For certain types of ore, the joint gold extraction process is often used.
